- About This Page - Unique World Wide Opals, LLC and this website are where I present to the public my products and any specimens for sale. In my store you will find unique opals I am sourcing from all around the world or have mined myself. Here you can find opals unlike you’ll likely see presented anywhere else. Volcanic Opals seen here are likely exotic and varied in their formations and characteristics and are often fossil opals. Some of the fossil opals are Sedimentary and like the Volcanic Opal specimens, I cut and polish them in hybrid forms of partially raw and partially cut in order to present their beauty appropriately. All opals shown on this website are natural. I may enhance these opals’ natural beauty by cutting them or taking an approach akin to my experience in a laboratory. I am and will continue to push the boundaries of what the world currently knows about Volcanic Opals. If you wish to seek an opinion on methods or practices seen here, please seek it from someone who specializes in Volcanic Opals, like myself. Few people in the world of opals have been, or will be exposed to the practices, methods and techniques being showcased here, or that were employed to bring these opals to you. Thanks for your interest!
- My Social Medias and a Shout Out -
I would like to give a shout out to my silversmithing mentor Eric Davidson , who I’m grateful to have met and I recommend you look him up. His Life Journey also includes opals.
I plan to expand my social outreach and media footprint as time goes on. Recently I have made impact in my rock and mineral community by being on the Board of Directors for the Tualatin Valley Gem Club since 2019 to current.
I have also made impact in my Facebook opal community by contributing to and helping manage one of the fastest growing Pacific Northwest opal pages on Facebook, with good friends Dustin Chaney and Tommy Graham, who created The Pacific North West Opal Lovers, Freaks & Miners Facebook Page. I would also like to mention that Dustin Chaney owns the Shine On Opal Mine, outside of Boise Idaho. These are mostly hotsprings crystal opals and precious opals. I would also like to mention another friend and mine owner, who I have also mined at his mine and it is open to the public with permission first - is Jamie Lant, who owns the Red October 2 Fire Opal Mine . This is an Oregon Fire Opal mine.
I recommend you check out The Pacific North West Opal FB Page. It’s a location to share your interest for opals in general, or if you live in the PNW and want to join a community of fellow opal lovers. You can often see specimens from the Virgin Valley, Nevada, being shown. The mine I went to on my first opal mining trip in 2017 is The Royal Peacock Opal Mine. This is where I mined my first precious black opal!
I plan to grow my YouTube content as well! I will be uploading most of my videos to my YouTube Channel and embedding them throughout this website. You can find my Opal Social Media Projects Pages on Facebook and Instagram at their respective icon buttons at the top of this web page too! Thank You!
